Latest platform updates

We’re on a mission to get people in Australia out more, to great venues with friends and family. Earlier this year we sent a survey to our users and received over 500 responses (thank you). The core theme of the survey was how we can be a better platform for you, and the standout feedback was:

1. More specials: We’re continuing to add dozens of specials weekly. If you want to recommend a venue for listing go here and we’ll list them in 24 hours.
2. Suburb feature: We’ve now added a suburb capability into the app and website, and you can even favourite suburbs that you’re most interested in hearing updates on (see below).
3. Map pop-up summary: Some users were finding it annoying that when you click on a venue pin on the map, it took you directly to the venue’s listing. We’ve now added a pop up summary to speed up searching.
4. More emails relevant to food/drink preferences: Now that users can add their food and drink preferences into their profile, over 90% of those surveyed want to get emails that are specific to their preferences. We've been ramping that up and will continue to do so.

Zero-in on suburbs of interest faster!

To zero in on suburbs of interest, instead of having to use the map view to scroll and zoom, you can now simply search the suburb.

Favourite suburbs

Never miss a great new special in your favourite suburbs!

Now, you can mark your favourite suburbs and receive real-time notifications of the latest new specials in those suburbs. This will go live in two weeks, so make sure to fave suburbs before then.

Navigating the map view just got a whole lot easier! Our enhanced map pop-up feature allows you to get a sneak peek on each venue’s specials.

Choose how you prefer to view specials!

View specials your way! Choose between the original list view that shows the full details about each special or the new venues view that shows a summary of all specials and availability per venue.

Notification preferences

Choose the content you want to see!

Starting next week, you’ll be able to receive push notifications whenever a venue you have favourited adds a new special. You’ll also be able to receive notifications for any suburbs you favourite. Toggling these settings are in “profile” then “notification preferences”.
