What: Power Hours: $6 Pints & Wines from 3-4pm, $7 from 4-5pm, $8 from 5-6pm, $9 from 6-7pm and $10 from 7-8pm.
When: Fridays from 3pm.
Speaking of good Guinness, this is one of our favourites in town. Also they put on a mean Sunday roast.
What: $8 wines, $9 pints, $12 cocktails.
When: Wednesday to Friday 3-6pm.
You know pubs with hostels attached are going to be lively, but don’t think these specials are only for backpackers. Crazy cheap and always friendly.
What: $8 jugs of beer.
When: Everyday 4-5pm.
Great selection of craft beers and enough paraphernalia on the walls to keep you distracted for hours on end. Gets busy so a booking could be a good idea.
What: $20 Burger and schooner of beer/cider or glass of wine.
When: Wednesdays.
The grand old heritage pub at the end of the line, still delivers good specials. We think this sundowner one is a real find.
What: Sundowner sessions: 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, share plates, and live tunes for $69. Upgrade to spirits for $20.
When: Saturday 6pm or 8pm.
